Copyright & Takedown Requests

Last updated: October 16, 2026

FS25ModZone does not host mod files. Every listing only links to a copy hosted by a third-party file host chosen by whoever submitted it. That said, we take copyright seriously and will remove or unpublish a listing that infringes someone else's rights.

If it's your work being used without permission

The fastest way to reach us is directly from the mod's own page:

  1. Open the mod listing in question.
  2. Click Report Abuse.
  3. Choose Copyright or Stolen Mod as the reason, and explain in the message what you own and where the original is published.

Alternatively, email [email protected] with:

  • A link to the FS25ModZone listing.
  • A description of the original work and where it was first published, or other proof you own it.
  • Your contact email.

What happens next

A moderator reviews every report. If it's a clear match, the listing is unpublished while we follow up with whoever submitted it. We may ask the reporter for more information before acting on ambiguous claims. We don't publish who filed a report.

Screenshots on this site

Unlike the mod files, the screenshots shown on a mod's page are stored on this site. They are copied from the mod's original listing so visitors can see what a mod looks like before they open the creator's own download page. They remain the work of their creators.

  • Every gallery says whose work the screenshots are and links to the original listing.
  • Each gallery has an Ask us to remove them link. If you made the mod or hold the rights to its images, we remove them within 48 hours of your request, and we delete our copies.
  • Removing the images does not remove the listing. To have the listing or the download link removed as well, use the steps above.
  • We do not use these screenshots for anything except showing them on the mod's own page and in listings of that mod.

If a file itself looks unsafe

Since we don't host the files, we can't scan them - but if a download link looks malicious or leads somewhere it shouldn't, use the same Report Abuse button with reason Malware / Suspicious Download, and we'll investigate and remove the link.
