How FS25ModZone works

FS25ModZone is a catalog of Farming Simulator 25 mods. We don't make the mods and we don't host the files. This page explains where the information on each mod page comes from, what is automated, and what a person checks. The site is operated by Comwil in Zürich, Switzerland (see About).

Where listings come from

  • Most listings are collected from public FS25 mod sites we track (KingMods, modhoster.de, farmingsimulator25mods.com and fs25.net). Each such listing records the page it came from.
  • The rest are submitted by creators or visitors through the upload form.
  • The description on a mod page is the creator's own text as published at its source, with the credits. It is cleaned up for formatting but not rewritten. Where the creator gave technical data (price, power, working width, capacity) or a feature list, we split it into the specs and features sections.
  • Download buttons never point to a copy hosted by us. They go to the host the creator or source site uses.

What is automated

  • Collecting new listings from the tracked sources, daily.
  • Checks on duplicates and on whether the download link works. A link that fails is flagged for a person to look at; a mod is not removed automatically because of one failed check.
  • Mods picked up from the tracked sites are published after these automated checks and review in batches. Not every listing is read individually, so mistakes can get through.
  • Brand and creator pages are built by a script, refreshed hourly. A brand page lists the mods whose title names that brand; a creator page lists the mods whose credits name that person. A page only exists once a brand or creator has at least five mods. They are not profiles run by the creators. Where a page carries a written introduction, it says who wrote it.
  • Mods with very little description and no specs are kept online and downloadable, but we ask search engines not to index them.

Corrections and removals

Wrong description, dead link, or a mod that shouldn't be listed? Use Report Abuse on the mod's page, or contact us. Creators who want a listing changed or taken down can also use Copyright & Takedown.
